History
A recipe decades in the making.
Barbara Tucker with her son on his first birthday.
When Candace married into the Tucker family, she discovered their
delicious birthday tradition: angel food cake. This began with Grandma
Barbara, whose love for angel food cake made it the centerpiece of
countless family celebrations.
For years, Candace and her new family baked angel food cakes from box
mixes. After moving to Idaho, where the mixes were hard to come by,
she decided to learn how to make them completely from scratch.
What started as a necessity became a passion. Today every Candy's
Classic Cake is made from scratch using the same love and tradition
that inspired those family celebrations.
Sourdough
Blueberry Lemon Sourdough
This is my classic sourdough with inclusions of lemon zest, lemon juice, and organic sugar mixed together to make a loose paste that gets laminated into into the dough along with fresh (never frozen!) blueberries before it is baked. I have heard many times that it makes amazing french toast.

Classic Sourdough
This is my classic sourdough. I absolutely love this bread! It
is great anytime of day with any meal you choose. It is made
with freshly ground organic soft white wheat berries, organic
all purpose flour and a French sea salt. The combination of
the whole wheat and sea salt gives this bread great flavor.
Everything Bagel
This is my classic sourdough bread with everything bagel seasoning on top. It has a blend of dehydrated onion, dehydrated garlic, sesame seeds, and black sesame seeds. This bread makes fantastic savory sandwiches.
Garlic Bread Sourdough
This sourdough is made with organic flours. French sea salt
and a garlic butter that has had finely grated garlic cloves
simmered in butter on low, laminated into the dough. It is
great with pasta meals or all by itself.
